Elisa's Italian Adventure
Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra and Chamber Choir

Take a Grand Tour across baroque Italy with Tafelmusik’s new Music Director, Elisa Citterio, as she leads you through the sights, sounds, and tastes of her home country in Elisa’s Italian Adventure from October 11-15 at Jeanne Lamon Hall, Trinity-St. Paul’s Centre. From Vivaldi’s “Autumn” to Fontana’s sonatas (written in Elisa’s hometown, Brescia), Steffani’s dramatic suites to Locatelli’s energetic concertos, the innovations and passions of Italy’s musicians are all to be found here.

Pre-concert Chats
Join us for a free pre-concert chat one hour before each show with Tafelmusik musicians Patricia Ahern(violin) and Dominic Teresi (bassoon). They will explore the new style of early 17th century Italian music, and provide some musical demonstrations along the way.

Post-concert Talkback
Join us after the performance on Wed, Oct 11 for a free informal discussion with our musicians and guest artists. This is an excellent opportunity to have your questions answered while they are fresh in your mind.
