League of Exotique Dancers follows an outspoken group of Burlesque pioneers as they prepare to give a live performance at the Legends of Burlesque Hall of Fame. In between remarkable acts both past and present, the women share backstories and wit from an era when "feminism" was very much an F-word, shining a light on the racism, sexism and that poverty that was rampant underneath the frolic and feathers.
