Celebrate Mother’s Day with a graduate of The Royal Conservatory of Music's Taylor Academy and the first Canadian Gold Medalist at the International Chopin Competition in his recital debut at Koerner Hall.  “No sooner had Bruce Liu been awarded first prize at the 18th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition, than Deutsche Grammophon, the world's most prestigious classical music label, announced it would release an album of highlights from Liu's competition performances. That album was released on November 19 [2021] and comprises solo piano pieces chosen from Liu's performances in the competition's various stages.” (CBC)
