Thousands of documentaries later, Hot Docs has grown into the largest documentary film festival in North America! Celebrate the 30th anniversary of Hot Docs with a screening of Manufacturing Consent, one of the films at our first festival. Funny, provocative and surprisingly accessible, Manufacturing Consent explores the political life and ideas of Noam Chomsky, world-renowned linguist, intellectual and political activist. In a dynamic collage of biography, archival gems, imaginative graphics and outrageous illustrations, the film highlights Chomsky’s probing analysis of mass media.
