VEMU Estonian Museum Canada
Located in downtown Toronto, VEMU connects Canadian and Estonian communities through rich and vibrant cultural programming, including lectures, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, film screenings, theatre, concerts, and more, in both Estonian and English.
VEMU also houses the largest archival collection and library outside of Estonia. These items are made available for the research and study of our history. The collaboration of the Estonian Studies Centre with the University of Toronto’s Chair of Estonian Studies and other Estonian organizations shapes VEMU into a North-American centre of Estonian history and culture.
