Etienne Brûlé: a rock opera

In 2013, the students of Paul Vaillant-Couturier College in France discovered Étienne Brûlé, born in their city. This misunderstood and courageous hero fascinated them. They wrote presentation letters to be accepted into the class dedicated to the project. Twenty-six of them were selected. For two years, they wrote texts, then learned to sing them and to move on stage. The show was a great success. For a week, these 26 budding actors will be in Ontario to walk in Étienne Brûlé’s Canadian footsteps. Come applaud their show! you won’t fail to be wowed by their energy, enthusiasm and conviction.
