From the Binoculars Building to Bilbao and Beyond: the Starchitecture of Frank Gehry
Frank Gehry burst upon the international scene with his unorthodox “Binoculars Building” (1991). But it was his 1997 Guggenheim Bilbao that generated a publicity explosion and made “Starchitect” a household term. This talk explores his meteoric rise and his continuing celebrity. Guest Speaker: Peter Harris.
Fee: $5 (includes refreshments)
