On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation renews its staunch commitment to preserving the memory of the Shoah through the numerous events and initiatives organized by its diplomatic network of embassies, consulates and cultural institutes throughout the world.

For the 2021 Holocaust Remembrance Day, marking the 76th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, the Istituto Italiano di Cultura Toronto will host an online conversation with Dr. Simonetta Della Seta, Italian representative at the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance and former Director of the Museum of Judaism and the Shoah in Ferrara and Dr. Jeremy Maron, curator at the Canadian Human Rights Museum in Winnipeg, Manitoba, titled Holocaust Museums and Memorials: Preserving History and Conveying a Message of Life.
