This workshop covers the essential ingredients of strong images. I’ll draw from my experience as a photographic based artist, professional printer and international photographic competition judge to address the following topics:
- Aspects of image critiquing
- What makes a good image in different genres—nature, portrait, abstract
- What affects the impact of an image—technical, organizational and emotional aspects
- Interactive (working with Adobe Lightroom)—an overview of the main modules and a demonstration of how to easily use this program (working with images from members)
Please send 1 or 2 images for critique at least 1 week before the session (JPEG, 1024 longest side, format for PC) to rtrider@advancedimages.ca
