Award-winning Iranian-Canadian composer, pianist, and sound engineer Pouya Hamidi celebrates 16 years of work through 7 chamber compositions.

Over the past decade and half, award-winning Iranian-Canadian composer, pianist, and sound engineer Pouya Hamidi has worked tirelessly to carve out his own unique expressive channel through Toronto’s musical landscape. His first-ever portrait concert Sense of Place, celebrates his music and  achievements by bringing together seven of his varied chamber compositions from the past 16 years. 

Featuring: Zorana Sadiq, Michael Bridge, Geoffrey Conquer, Beth Silver, Aysel Taghi-Zada, Aline Homzy, Laurence Schaufele, Daniel Morphy, Peter F. Stoll, Bahar Tavassoli, Padideh Ahrarnejad
